We are blessed to have our two founders Dr. Yutaka Niihara, CEO of Emmaus Medical and Professor of Medicine at UCLA, who has devoted 40 years to the research and development of therapy for SCD and Dr. Lance McCarthy, Dr. E. Lance McCarthy is a nationally recognized Faith Based Economist and Investment Advisor, with a specialty in urban development. to create global chapters of stakeholders with a goal to make treatment accessable to 50 million plus global patients, mostly from the develoing world.We are proud to work with them to create genuine impact!
